I haven't written a blog post about this yet because I just couldn't find the words. As I fumble through this post, I am not even sure I have the words now.
For 19 years, I have been your Close To My Heart Consultant Maker. That will all end on April 15th, 2024. Close To My Heart is closing, and it truly is the end of the company. If you follow me on social media, you already know this news.
I want to tell you a little bit about what is going on with product. It is best to shop on my website right now versus your catalogs. Many things are now retired. If you go to my website and something says OUT OF STOCK, it may be coming back in before the end of April. The inks and re-inkers, for example, have a banner letting you know when they will be back.

So What Will I Do?
I know many of you are wondering what I will be doing when CTMH closes on April 30th. I have been taking some to process this and really look back at what CTMH has meant to me. The shy, introverted country girl turned into someone with strength and the ability to teach in person and online. It has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to work with all of you.
I have some time to think, but this is what I can promise you.
I will never make a decision without all of you in mind, and I will make sure it is as seamless as possible. You have so faithfully purchased stamps and inks from me over the years, and if there is a way I can teach and you can continue to use them, I will do so.
You also know what a passion Operation Smile is to me. I will always want to continue my fundraising efforts by having a crop in the fall. Operation Smile has a piece of my heart.
No matter what, I will continue making workshops every month. I will always share memory making projects and ideas with you. It is what I am meant to do!
I will continue to have crops and classes. I love this time with you!
I also promise you that I will have my decision made by April 15th, and I will share it with you here and on social media. Whatever my new venture is will begin on April 16th.
