School Dayz 13-Year Workshop

Well, my friends, this one is going to get you through all the school years from Kindergarten to 12th Grade! It's the most comprehensive workshop I've built in a long time. It was kind of selfish because even though my son is 35 years old, I don't have his school year album done. So when School Dayz came out, I determined to build an album with rotating patterns so that I could finally get these memories in an album and do it with ease.

So let me show you a couple of years.

I've started each year with these fabulous grade level pages that are included in the School Dayz Decorative Bundle. Every year also has a School Dayz layered embellishment frame. Three are included in the Decorative Bundle, and you can purchase extra ones individually or use cardstock to mat the photos.

The Kindergarten pattern is the only one that is not rotating. I felt like it had to have a unique pattern of it's own because that precious little year is all about learning basic skills.

The back of the right page is a simple page with little paper in order to hold the final report card for the year. And then I've inserted a Multi-Pocket page between each grade. It holds five photos or pieces of memorabilia on the front and five more in the back.

This simple pattern gives you so much room! You may have noticed that I many things look like they are small. What I did to give myself more room is scan the originals and print 3x4 or 4x6 photos. Many of these items are at least 8x10, and it would be hard to put them all in a book. This makes it possible, and now the photos are in my cloud and external hard drive. I did want to keep a few things, and for that, I have the School Dayz File Mate.

Now let's take a look at Grade 1. This will also be the pattern for Grades 5 and 9. Behind the left page is the grade level page and behind the right page is the simple pattern again to place the report card. And then another Multi-Pocket Protector!

(When I have photographed Grades, 2, 3, and 4, I will add them to this blog post.)

Now, I am sure you want to know what you will need to create this workshop! I am going to link everything below. I have worked hard to make this as affordable as possible for you while creating it with ease so that you can work on it in short spurts. The most time consuming thing for me will be going through my son's two bins!

Optional Extras for ONE Album with Added Pages:

*If you are adding pages to the album, you will need two Album Covers. I have split my albums up into Kindergarten - 6th Grade and 7th - 12th Grades with Graduation photos.

The directions for the album will be completed the week of August 19th. This is a comprehensive guide, so I will want to make sure you have all the instruction that you need!

Thanks so much for stopping in! I appreciate so much when you come to visit!!
