Sun-Soaked in Mexico

Last night I spent some time doing a live video on my Facebook page, My Papercrafting Life. I like to take a sketch and do something completely out of the box with it. Here's the sketch I chose:

Now, I purposely leave off any measurements because that's part of what I teach. I want you all to be able to look at any sketch online or in a magazine and put it together using your own thoughts and ideas. This is what I did with this sketch.

First of all, I loved getting two more pages done for our Mexico book. The colors in the Sun-Soaked paper are perfect for the sunny Riviera Maya and Caribbean Sea. That crab punch was perfect, and by the time I got done with the papers, I needed very little embellishment.
Lots of ink splattering in the background with the blue and orange of the paper. You really should go watch the video so that you can learn how I splatter. Go to https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1E9Sk6XoGS/ to watch the whole process video! What I love about my videos is that you will see how imperfect I am and how much I change my mind. That is part of MY process. Lingering over a page and thinking back on photos. It's the way I've always scrapbooked!
